Gail Pellicone provides mental health counseling for individuals, couples and families. She is an empathic listener who gives insight, support and a fresh perspective to those going through difficult times of transition. Using behavioral, cognitive, solution-focused and client-centered therapy techniques, Gail creates an atmosphere of trust, support and acceptance. Through the counseling process, she assists clients in developing tools to help with both their present circumstance and to use moving forward.

The GAP Counseling LLC office is located in beautiful Red Bank. The décor in the office is bright, warm, welcoming and friendly, which matches Gail’s style in interacting with all of her clients. On the first visit, the client can expect a warm smile and a comfortable, soothing setting. The initial intake involves getting to know the client’s history and the circumstances that have brought them into therapy.
About Gail Pellicone
Gail began her career at a partial hospitalization program in Jersey City for severely mentally ill adults. Her role as clinician included assessment, behavior management and group therapy. In her years of experience, Gail has worked as a crisis hotline training director for a large university, a family care worker for the YMCA, a clinician for youth at-risk of residential placement, an academic advisor for college students and a student assistance counselor at a public elementary school. Gail has also volunteered her time to a support group for parents whose babies have passed away due to miscarriage, stillbirth or illness.
